The Isuzu 4JB1 engine is a 4-stroke - 4-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine with a displacement of 3.856 Liters. The 4JB1 has a high power output of 78 HP. Torque is 135 lb.-ft. at 2000 rpm. The diesel engine was used primarily in the Isuzu Bighorn (Trooper), Mu (Rodeo), Wizard (LWB Rodeo), Rodeo Pickup and Holden Jackaroo sold in most world markets except North America until the early 1990s. This engine was also installed in Isuzu Elf 150 and other light trucks.
